Ponsonby Second Hand Stores
There are plenty of clothing recycle shops on Ponsonby and K Roads however I’m more into finding gorgeous retro and vintage second hand homeware. Unfortunately I came home with not much to show for the experience though it does mean plenty to spend another day. If you weren’t aware K Road is short for Karangahape Road and is located in Auckland City.
Shops Visited
The op  shops I visited excluding the Red Cross Shop are more up market with a variety of clothing and a small amount of homewares so make sure your pockets are deep. The Botique for SPCA was mainly clothes with a small amount of second hand homewares but again you need deep pockets so not really for those looking for a bargain.
Peter Rogers Real Time is an antique store with walls and floor bursting with goods and I love all that he has though I’m not sure anything will be ever coming home with me.
Flotsam and Jetsam another antique type store and I have bought a few bits and pieces from this store. It does have an interesting range of goods, and is easy to navigate
