10 Mt Eden Op Shops and Second Hand Stores
For convenient second-hand shopping in Auckland check out the area of Mt Eden, specifically Dominion Road. Dominion Road has a number of op shops and second-hand stores that are located quite close to each other. In total I visited 10 Mt Eden op shops and second hand stores. I was surprised by how many shops there actually were to visit.
As well as op shops and second hand stores you will find plenty of cafes and restaurants and with loads of varieties and ethnicities. Something for every taste! So after a busy day out shopping, there is something for all palates.

The Red Cross Shop Dominion Road
As I carried on further down Dominion Road, I found more shops.
- Disabled Citizens Society Inc -Unfortunately I did get to not visit this one.
- Salvation Army Family Store
- SPCA Op Shop Mt Eden – Closed on the day that I visited.
- Hunt & Foster
- Antique Alley
Junk and Disorderly
Heading towards Mt Eden Road via Balmoral Road make sure to stop in at the super popular Junk and Disorderly – heaven in a warehouse full of second hand goods! It is labelled as an antique store but you might find something to bring home, it’s definitely worth a look.
Mt Eden Village
On Mt Eden Road at Mt Eden Village there are two small op shops, the Mercy Hospice shop and the Red Cross Shop. These shop have mostly clothes with a small amount of homewares but I’m sure you’ll find a bargain.
