I have been working with a few fabrics lately. Gorgeous quilting cottons and luscious organic cotton knit fabric from Europe.
The quilting cottons are so varied and I have made some up into handy cosmetic purses, I just wanted to keep making more to satisfy everyone’s tastes but I had to stop somewhere. The ones I have made can be found in the store. Of course they can be used for a lot of different things like pencils if you’re into adult colouring in. Somewhere to stash your treats or neccessities etc, comment below with what you would use yours for. I can’t decide which is my favourite, maybe the owl, which is a fabric from Tula Pink I just love the colours and vibrancy of it.
Or maybe its the one with the police box on it? Dr Who anyone!
The other fabric I mentioned was this gorgeous organic cotton knit from Europe. Its called “Rudes” and I just think that epitomises kids who love to tumble and play. It was made into a pair of harem pants and the little boy who got to model them just absolutely adores them. The pants are available via custom order and can be located in the store here.
I think some merino fabric is calling to be made up into scarves, or maybe some capes for kids, oh the conundrum!

I love love love your blog! And the little purses I’d use mine for my cell phone and keys for when I take the dogs out, or for a quick errand without having to take my whole bag with me. I love them! These are super cute and perfect with Winter here 😀
Thanks for the feedback, and love the ideas for other uses too.
I sounds like you adore fabric as much as I do! You must have so much fun buying it all and creating so many neat things with it. Your cosmetic bags look like they would be so handy for carting things around it. That first one with the orange and pink is so pretty.
Oh yes Laura, some might say its an addiction, but like art I think its an appreciation of gorgeous things!
Thanks so much for the feedback.
Oh the choices! I love your creations – they look fantastic well done
Thanks Mariana appreciate the comment 🙂
