What is FOMO

“FOMO is the fear of missing out and as a business you wouldn’t want people to miss out on your business. You want to create that excitement about your business. So much so that people will think, oh my goodness, I really need this particular business products or services”

Through creating a buzz about your business you are helping people to get an idea about who you are, what you do and your sales of products or service come at a later point.

So, we need to take just a little step back first of all, and we need to raise awareness about our brands.
Share great information about what we do to potential clients by giving great information, education,
tips, advising people and that kind of stuff. And, bringing that energy, all the information, education,
in an entertaining way, in an easily digestible way for your audience.

Brand & FOMO Creation

If you have a business you are also a brand. We want people to buy from us so they need to get to know us, like us and the information we are sharing and possibly buy from us in the future

First step in FOMO creation is brand awareness, not just the logo, but about you as a person your website who you are on social media and more (see video)

Second step in FOMO creation is to educate people about what you do in a non salesy way. Don’t make the mistake of expecting people to buy from you from the get go. Established companies have done the brand building.

Challenges & Outcomes

  • How to use FOMO when you cant attend conferences and workshops etc
  • Use Zoom lives etc to still interview people and create Fomo
  • Anxiety  and fears and how to overcome, embrace video and set yourself apart
  • Spend quite a bit of time building your brand don’t be tempted to go straight into sales education, building relationships
