Brisbane Art

One thing you will notice when visiting Brisbane is the amount of art. From street art to sculptures and more. In my first blog I mentioned some of the art galleries and museums I visited which you can read about here. But there is so much more.

Local Artists

I like to support local artists where possible and I was very happy to come across the Aboriginal Art Co. Gallery and Shop. I wanted to support the actual artists and not purchase fake art. Of course I needed more earrings (not really) but I love to add to my collection because I can probably tell you at the very least where they were purchased from and they were orange which is my favourite colour. The artist is TTPOP and can be found on Facebook

Art Installations & Sculptures

I visited quite a few art installations and sculptures which I’ve documented in the video below. Check out the map below which shows you an approx. location of where they all are.

Street Art

As an artist I love to look around and see what art is out there and street art is no exception. I’m not going to be an street artist but its so inspirational. I hope you find some inspiration from some of the art I found, this is by no means all of it. Make sure to watch the video below this one, its of Burnett Lane Ext in Brisbane wonderful art.
