Steps

  1. Clean and dry your bottle, and cork or lid.
  2. Close the bottle to stop any hessian fibers getting in.
  3. Cut a small strip of hessian that will fit around the neck of your bottle with some overlap. Repeat with the lace or ribbon.
  4. Use the glue stick along one side of the hessian. Place the hessian around the neck of the bottle. Make sure the side with the glue is touching the glass of the bottle. Press down with your fingers. Also ensure that the overlap is at the back of the bottle (or under the handle if you have a bottle like mine).
  5. Repeat the previous step with the lace or ribbon.
  6. Cut out the preferred tag. Poke a hole in the circle at the top of the tag.
  7. Write on the tag.
  8. Thread the string through the hole and tie around the neck of the bottle
  9. Fill with Jelly Beans or other preferred sweet
  10. You now have a gift for that special someone.

*If you wish to have a rustic look for your tags you will need to source a paper that will give you that look.
